About Apero Vespa:

Inspired by the art of Italian Aperitivi hour, travel, spritz, wine and food culture. We are a mobile beverage catering service, providing bar set ups.

We bring the destination feeling to you, with our vintage Vespa bars, and culturally inspired flair.

The idea is to transport you in your own space. Visually, with the interactive Vespa bar service as well as through other senses- such as taste through our beverages/wine offerings, scent through live botanical/fruit decor & garnish + so much more.

Our focus is authenticity and quality. We customize each experience uniquely.

We work with renowned brands such as Eataly to ensure an elevated product for our service. Every beverage selection, every decor package, is thought out and intentional.

APERO was dreamt up in an attempt to capture and savor the feeling evoked by Aperitivo hour abroad. The relaxed elegance, traditional yet modern, the sweet ease that is simplistic and chic. The mix of herbaceous bitters, brisk bubbly, a hint of sweet. Orange hues- In your glass. The stripes of café umbrellas. In the sky… These little moments kept us wanting to go back for more, to learn and to share, so all of our friends could feel all the feels too, even when in our own backyards.

We love sharing good wine, we love concocting aperitivi and we love to bring the vibes that bring people together.   

APERO Founder & Creative Director, Amanda Polizzi, spent 15 years of her career curating fashion photography alongside renowned artists in the fine art, fashion and beauty space. She has coordinated events, produced photo shoots for prominent consumer brands, and celebrated magazines worldwide. It is her elegant eye, niche for creating and passion for people that has lead Amanda here, bringing a nod to aperitivo and a touch of chic to your event.

Partner & Director of Business Development, Joe Twomey, has spent the majority of his career in the finance world, yet food and wine have always been his passion at heart. An avid collector with a focus on Italian wine, Joe brings his refined palate, along with deep wine & spirit knowledge to APERO. Joe can curate wine lists ranging from famed Piedmont varietals, like Nebbiolo, to introducing smaller artisanal, family run producers or grapes that can uniquely stand up and connect in balance. Joe's recommendations have seen the likes of established NYC restauranteurs and vendors’ offerings. Collaborate with Joe to create your favorite and customized wine or cocktail tasting menu.
